sisters and co-founders. Mama India was born out of our love for travelling and art, and the desire to use the array of impressions we absorb during our journeys, to create something tangible that resonates with the liberating feeling of self-expression.

Each piece is a blend of comfort and thoughtful design, crafted to treasure over the years. Our textiles are all handmade, carefully sourced from artisanal communities across India. We continually seek ways to be more sustainable by employing methods like upcycling, using recycled materials, organic products for dyeing and low impact azo-free ink for printing to reduce wastage and our overall environmental impact
As a small business, with just the two of us at the helm, supported by our small yet talented production team, we wear many hats, adding our personal touch in all we do. We’re grateful for your support in our work and choosing handmade clothing.
