We at Mama India seek to empower the artisan communities of the Indian subcontinent and preserve their rich craftsmanship.
Our designs feature textiles born out of ancestral techniques of hand spinning the yarn and handloom weaving. Together with our small yet talented production team we employ various methods to reduce wastage and our overall environmental impact like upcycling, using fabrics woven of natural and repurposed fibres, organic products for dyeing and low impact azo-free ink for printing.
